What is homespun fabric?
Homespun is a lightweight fabric of fine cotton yarns. It was once a rough, loosely woven fabric originally made with yarn spun at home, and this is how the "homespun" term came about. Characteristics of modern homespun fabric include an imperfect finish with color imperfections and slight irregularities with no distinct front or back. Designs are created by weaving colored threads together. They are part of the character and charm of true homespun.

A general rule of thumb is that the table runner should be 1/3 the width of your table and overhang the ends 6 to 10 inches.
For example, if your table is 42 inches wide x 60 inches long, the table runner should be approximately 14 inches wide x 72 to 80 inches long.

Its perfect. Cynthia sent me six samples ( no one else did ), and the one we both liked was the dining room maker. Its well made, colors are strong, came fast, priced right. Highly recommended. Note it sits under beeswax candles from Etsy and the slice of Doug Fir under the rose came from Etsy. But the runner sets it all off. Thanks!
