A flanged edge is a decorative accent along all four sides of a pillow cover. A flange consists of fabric with a seam allowance of 1/2" beyond the inserted pillow form. 

Homespun is a lightweight fabric of fine cotton yarns. It was once a rough, loosely woven fabric originally made with yarn spun at home, and this is how the "homespun" term came about. Characteristics of modern homespun fabric include an imperfect finish with color imperfections and slight irregularities with no distinct front or back. Designs are created by weaving colored threads together. They are part of the character and charm of true homespun.

Hand or machine wash gently in cold water, line dry, medium steam iron.

* How to measure: Using a fabric measuring tape, measure at the center of the pillow from seam to seam. Repeat this for both width and length.
If you do not have a fabric tape measure, use a string, then line up to a yardstick or metal tape measure.

Depending on your monitor's settings, the fabric may appear somewhat different, more or less vibrant. Also, you can check the fabric's thickness, texture, and pattern scale. So please consider this before ordering.

Swatches are adequately sized to see the color and weight of a fabric.
