Homespun is a lightweight fabric of fine cotton yarns. It was once a rough, loosely woven fabric originally made with yarn spun at home, and this is how the "homespun" term came about.
Characteristics of modern homespun fabric include an imperfect finish with color imperfections and slight irregularities with no distinct front or back. Designs are created by weaving colored threads together. They are part of the character and charm of true homespun.
Hand or machine wash gently in cold water, dry on low until damp or line dry, medium steam iron.

I highly recommend ordering swatches if you are trying to match any of my items with your existing home decor. Depending on your monitor's settings, the fabric may appear somewhat different, more or less vibrant. Also, you can check the fabric's thickness, texture, and pattern scale. So please consider this before ordering.
These pillow covers are very careful made with the insides nicely finished. I hand washed and no ironing was required. My only wish is that the fabric was organic.
