What is homespun fabric?
What is homespun fabric?
Homespun is a lightweight fabric of fine cotton yarns. It was once a rough, loosely woven fabric originally made with yarn spun at home, and this is how the "homespun" term came about.
Characteristics of modern homespun fabric include an imperfect finish with color imperfections and slight irregularities with no distinct front or back. Designs are created by weaving colored threads together. They are part of the character and charm of true homespun.

Curtain Measuring Guide
Curtain Measuring Guide
LENGTH, top to bottom:
Measure from the top of the curtain rod down to where you want the curtain to fall. The total length is from the top of the rod pocket to the bottom of the curtain, excluding the 1-inch header if chosen.
WIDTH, left to right::
Curtains should be 1.5 - 2 times wider than the window or rod for fullness or less for a tailored look.
The width is the total of both panels; for example, the 25"W tiers are 50 inches, and the 36"W tiers are 72 inches. The valance width and the width of the tiers should be equal for a uniform look. For example, the 15"L x 50"W valance goes with the 25"W tiers.
HEADER:
Options: 1-inch header (rod pocket and 1" topper) or flat top (rod pocket only).
Please note that the total length is from the top of the rod pocket to the bottom of the curtain, excluding the 1-inch header topper if chosen.
ROD POCKET SIZE:
As a general rule, the rod pocket needs to be at least twice the diameter of the round pole or half an inch more than the size of a flat (continental) curtain rod. For example, a 1-inch round pole requires a 2-inch rod pocket, while a 2.5-inch flat curtain rod requires a 3-inch rod pocket.
ADDITIONAL TIPS:
To ensure a consistent color or pattern and pattern placement, it is recommended to order the necessary quantity. It is possible for there to be a slight variation between bolts.
